Happy Hearts Inclusive Preschool

Our Happy Hearts Early Childhood Education Program provides a state-of-the-art educational experience where all preschool children have the opportunity to learn and grow. This fully-inclusive program serves typical children and children with identified developmental delays. Full or part-time enrollment is available based on family preference. Class size depends on the age and developmental needs of the children, ranging from 12 to 15 children per day. The program maintains an average ratio of one staff person for every five children.

Happy Hearts benefits from more than 50 years experience that the Barber National Institute has as a leader in the field of education. The program offers a progressive, innovative curriculum that encourages the development of creativity, self-direction, positive peer interactions and communication. Our experience in individualized education allows us to guide each child toward his or her potential.

• Fast ForWord: a neuroscientifically-proven approach to teaching young children to read through a computer based listening/processing program.
• Handwriting Without Tears: an advanced program that uses multi-sensory, hands-on manipulatives and CDs to prepare children for handwriting with a print tool assessment for evaluation and remediation.
